As an integral part of maintaining this leadership position, Envivio is an active member of several industry trade organizations who support an open standards approach to developing MPEG-4 video solutions.

AVC Alliance
The ultimate objective of the AVC alliance is to invite the support and the participation from all potential players in the value chain to drive the industry-wide adoption of AVC by creating a platform for information and technology for the rapid development of AVC based products and services.

AVS Workgroup
Audio and Video Coding Standard Workgroup of China (AVS Workgroup) was authorized and established by Science and Technology Department under National Information Industry Ministry in June, 2002. In order to meet the requirement of information industry and realize the union of the native enterprises and research institutions, the role of the group is to establish (or edit) such general technical standards as the compression, decoding, processing, and the representation of digital audio-video and meanwhile provide the digital audio-video equipments and systems with high-efficient and economic coding/decoding technologies. This standard is applied in the field of significant information industry such as high-resolution digital broadcast, high-density laser-digital storage media, wireless broad-band multimedia communication, and internet broad-band stream media.

bmcoforum
bmcoforum (Broadcast Mobile Convergence Forum) is an international lobbying association, providing a discussion platform for companies and institutions dealing with the development of a worldwide open market for mobile broadcast services.

The Digital Video Broadcasting Project
The Digital Video Broadcasting Project (DVB) is an industry-led consortium of over 270 broadcasters, manufacturers, network operators, software developers, regulatory bodies and others in over 35 countries committed to designing global standards for the global delivery of digital television and data services.

DVB-H
DVB-H is part of the Digital Video Broadcasting Project (http://www.dvb.org) and is the specification for bringing broadcast services to battery-powered handheld receivers. DVB-H was formally adopted as an ETSI standard in November 2004.

FLO Fourm
The purpose of FLO Forum is to assemble wireless industry stakeholders around the central mission of establishing FLO as an internationally-supported technology standard. Standardization of FLO technology will help ensure a smoother cost effective path for widespread deployment of the latest in multimedia by limiting the hurdles inherent in a multiple-technology development environment.

HD Forum
The HD Forum is consortium of industry leading companies committed to proliferation of high definition television. Founded with only 17 members, the HD Forum counts today over 50 member companies all developing products in accordance with the Forum statutes.

Internet Streaming Media Alliance
The goal of the ISMA is to accelerate the adoption and deployment of open standards for streaming rich media content such as video, audio, and associated data, over Internet protocols.

MPEG Industry Forum
MPEG-IF has a mission to further the adoption of MPEG Standards, by establishing them as well accepted and widely used standards among creators of content, developers, manufacturers, providers of services, and end users

Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers
SMPTE's goal is to standardize the motion picture and television industry. SMPTE Standards and Test Materials continue to maintain organization and uphold the integrity of the industry.
